my 06 2.3 threw a rod , i have a 2007 2.0 engine that spun bearings at 70k miles ( swapped engine for friend last year ) have both engines apart in garage 2.3 block is shot , and 1 rod i was thinking could use 2.3 crank / balance shaft delete as the 2.0 does have oil port nor holes for it ...

The engine in my cx7 has recently gone up in smoke. Literally. Is it possible to to replace that engine with the non turbo 2.5L that is on the newer models? I would like to get away from the turbo.

2.3 engine partout. 2005 Mazda 3, automatic. Located in 17237. Engine is toast (bearings are gone, bores scored, con-rod busted, hole in block the size of a silver dollar... other than that its in good shape) Planning on taking the motor in for scrap, but wanted to offer up any parts off...
