I know it may not seem like a big deal but before he didn't want me to change it cuz he liked the stock one and he is paying for the car but he finally came around the second time I asked. So I'm thinking about getting the RAZO GT Advance or a MOMO red/aluminum Crystal. What do you guys think??

LOL. I think you're lucky to have a dad that is paying for your car! ;)

It's not like I don't have a job. It's just that I really don't have enough hrs. to pay for the monthly nor the insurance but I am paying for the gas.But once we have to start paying for new carpet and wood laminent,I have to start paying for my car.

mazdaspeed knob, my personnal preference

lol, a knob is nothing...you should have just bought one and put it on. then it would have been too late for him to say no...its not like your getting a full exhaust change or rims n tires

Yeah, then he would have been pissed:mad:  and stop paying for my car.I don't think so.

Heh, you coulda just used it when you drive. Its not as if its a HUGE install and removal. ;)

I personally do not like the Momo Crystal. I bought one for my buddies girlfriend for her b-day and I did not like the look of it at all. It is really kinda tall and I just think it looks cheap. She decided to remove the red accents from her interior and I was glad to say.."taking that out of your car will not offend me". She maintained that she liked it, but it did not match anymore. She is going to replace it with a titanium colored DC Sports one (she drives a Prelude). Don't know if it is the same RAZO one or not, but my buddy bought this weighted RAZO knob for his WRX, it is just a ball, but it feels bad-ass. The weight of the ball just seems to make the shifts take less effort. It is also a dark gunmetal type of color and it looks really cool. I am starting to grow more and more partial to ball style shifters as oppossed to the pistol grip style. Just my .02

peace

OK, thanx for the opinion.:D.I am the opposite of you,I can't wait until I change my ******' stock golf ball knob. What about the SPARCO Tecno aka Mazdaspeed shift knob or maybe just maybe the X-FAST,anyone have an opinion??

I wouldn't even consider getting a knob that didnt srew in. Look at the KartBoy knob, or This
or This custom knob

The first knob is kinda spendy, the second one is cheaper and you can get what ever you want on it.

Im looking at getting a 2 inch black knob from flameball.

Yeah any shift knob that is not internally threaded is worthless IMHO. The ones that use crappy set screws always pop off and feel cheasy. I have the Mazdaspeed leather knob that came from Corksport and it's a nice fit and has good weight to it on my B&M short shifter.

My Momo shifter (Raptor) is pissin me off. The bottom part unscrews itself constantly!!!
Its hard work to keep clean.
It works itself loose too often.
It does not fit the boot AT ALL!!
It is toooo tall.

Granted, it fits in the palm of my hand quite nicely, looks hot, fun to play with....but it was so not worth the $$$.
Wish i was able to test it out before i laid out the mulah!:'(

Has anybody shopped on optauto B4 cuz I was wondering when the next shipment of Sparco Gunmetal X-Fast shift knobs were going to be??
