all you need is the turbo, the motors are the same thing?

i have a turbo from the engine i blew. but i dont want to deal with this anymore. id rather just put a stock speed engine in. of course if i could find a built block and head that would be fine. but im needing it soon. and i dont want to pay an arm and a leg to build it from scratch.

I get that, but a mazdaspeed engine from a protege is the same thing as a regular protege.

Well in that case. I guess I need a protege engine. I've been hearing the same thing. Well then I should look into a built engine then

Yeah, rods, pistons, compression and all that is the same. Only difference between the two is the msp engine has a tap in the windage tray for the oil return, but everything else is the same.

I'll keep an eye out for you
