i have a corksport j-pipe. 2.4" diameter. its at least half a downpipe and would match well with a straight midpipe. $100 shipped. have pics in my thread in p5 FS section, don't be intimidated by how rusty it looks its just surface stains.
There was a stock MSP S pipe on Craigslist in Austin for $35, I have my stock mid pipe and J pipe (J is the same as reg. protege) but may hold on to it.
So i can just run a j pipe from the regular protege? The pipe diameter is the same? I know the speed midpipes come with two cats, but would the corksport j-pipe fit the n/a midpipe?

j-pipe are exactly the same in stock MSP and proteges/p5's. the corksport one fits stock exhaust (i had it on an otherwise stock p5) stock diameter is less than 2" corksport is 2.4". direct replacement just bigger diameter
