i talked the wife into it.

we have a bad motor in my LX, im going to swap that bottom end into my msp with forged or billet or whatever upgraded and strong for my motor.

im putting my current block from the msp into the LX.

So i want Rods and bearings to go with it!
ill do the pistons someday, but not today.

you should kill two birds with one stone and get the pistons in too. You might have to get the stock pistons machined to fit the forged rods.

Don't waste your time or money on stock pistons. Stock pistons are a pressed wrist pin while aftermarket rods and pistons use/require full floating wrist pins.
If you use aftermarket rods and stock pistons, you have to machine the stock cast pistons to accept a floating wrist pin.. The cost to do that and the difference of just buying a quality aftermarket forged piston does make sense.
Speed the little extra and do it right. We sell H-beam rods and Oliver billet rods and CP pistons

awesome, your at the top of my list. i was hoping for someone selling a set they bought but never used :P

umm thats what mp5jeffs are... bought but never used.

Sorry for thread jack... so jeff isn't going to complete the car? What happened...

not right now, going to try to find a stock motor and put it in, and do a few more things to make it run a little more boost safely, and hopefuly when next chance for school money comes around, ill get some and finish the car, but for now buying a house, and going to school full time is kickin my butt.
