Anyone have a stock 6 Disk MP3 CD Player for a Mazda 3 5 Door? I have the non bose setup stock on a 2008. PM with a price and what you have.

MP3 is not stock in any Mazda that I know of.

I don't.. unfortunately. If they're finally updating the changer to support MP3 then kudos to Mazda. Does it play .wma also?

NOT sure about the .WMA but my WRX even has an MP3 compatible player. Dammit Mazda!

It's a dealer accessory that runs around $450 new. If you received a 3 (in the US) with a MP3 player from the dealer then that means they installed it themselves and probably jacked the price up. It doesn't however come standard on any models.

The dealer can order them with that MP3 player in them. We had a few of them on our lot recently. However they are not 6 disc if its a MP3 player its only single disc.

They discontinued the single disc Mp3 player in 2006 and replaced it with the 6CD Mp3. You might want to check your info on that.

I am sorry I stand corrected. However I do know that the dealership can order the cars with them if they choose to.

I have a 2006 Mazda 3 5dr, and it has a button for disc up and a button for disc down, yet when I press load and try to insert a 2nd disc, it won't take it...

Let me clarify that. They discontinued the single disc Mp3 player in 2006 and replaced it with a 6CD/Mp3 player. base trims without the moonroof/6CD option still have single CD players.

I have a 2006 Mazda3 S 2.3L Sedan that came with a 6 disc CD Changer, I am not sure if it plays MP3s. I will check tonight, but I am looking to sell it as I want to install an aftermarket deck.
