I recently had the gearbox changed by a local garage. The issue after that is that the dashboard is not showing good gear. Everything is allright up to the 4th gear but when you’re changing from 4th to 5th then it’s showing that you’re actually using the 6th gear. When going from 5th to 6th it’s now showing nothing and car seems to „choke” so I’m not even using that gear atm. The garage which replaced the gearbox is unable to fix it. They are saying it is a software issue bcan’t sort it out using their computers.
Anyone had similar issues?
It is a 2015 Mazda CX-5 with manual gearbox.
