I think that might be an ES painted to look like an MP3 with our rims/wheels as I don't say any MP3 badging...of course it's possible they just removed it...but then they installed a sunroof...I guess that could be it too. Lol..now I'm curious if there's a way to solve the mystery short of sending WW an email.

I do NOT like that wing tho...it's just too much for me....I could just hear the snickers already from the average joe.

Someone on the board posted that theirs came with a sunroof on an MP3. Can't remember who it was. I wish it had one on mine though. I love 'em! I'm almost considering letting Ziebart put one in, but $600+ is a little steep for me right now.

I have heard bad things about ziebart. I once went there and asked if they could put one in my old car and it wasn't in the book so the guy looked at it and eyed it up and said "Ahhh.... I think I can put one in there"

I THINK!!!! You better know damn it!!!

On the other hand, I know a place in Brookfield WI that put one in my sisters Civic before she bought it new (The dealer had it put in) and the car is 5 years old with 130,000 miles and not a single leak. She had one problem with the motor and they swapped it out while she waited for no charge and no questions asked.

I am thinking about a sunroof also.

Good point! but the side markers could in theroy be picked up at any autozone or parts store! Another give away!- There is the third brake light on the back deck inside the window! MP3's didn't come with these. And I don't think that WW would add it. Dude I totaly feel like I am in kindergarden doing one of those "which one is different" puzzles Either way it still looks pretty schweet!!

Good call on the rear window brake light. Didn't even think to look for that.
Ziebart has a great reputaion in my area. They also have lifetime warranties and do really good window tints and diamond coating. I'll wax the car myself before paying $180/year to get it diamond coated, but their window tints are clean and guaranteed. Had 3 cars done there and they are all still perfect.

I'm gonna stick with it being an ES....as well it's hard to tell for certain, but the seats don't look to have the silver accents like the MP3 seats...they look all one colour.....damn WW shoulda given us the exact number of differences.

I wonder if you can buy just the side pieces? I have to replace both of them and I like the look of everything on the non-MP3 (why cut up an MP3...all they want to sell the body kit!) except the wing on the back. The stock MP3 pieces are back ordered.

I wish they quoted a price.

It say it's an MP3, if you take a look at some of the earlier pics of the MP3, they didn't have the badging but they did have the third brake light. Did anyone take notice to the Protege in the pic not having side moldings. The Protege ES does have side moldings. That's another strange thing about this car. But, does anyone really care.

The wing doesn't have the piece in the middle that bolts to the deck. On the MP3 the factory wing has 2 bolts in each end and a post in the middle that has 2 bolts in it.

The kit is cool except the back bumber is ugly........It doesn't look right with the exhaust muffler and tip showing that much......
