Wimpy horn

I have no idea where this should be posted so I figured a horn has an electrical connection so it can go here right? Anyways I'm tired of my wimpy, excuse-me-please-don't-pull-out-in-front-of-me horn. I don't need a semi-truck air horn but I'd like something that will get the point across. I saw some at Advance Auto Parts, but it turns out they don't let you test them out in the store. Go figure (dunno)
So has anyone replaced theirs? What did you use?

Freeway blaster from autozone, $13. Nothing fancy, one tone horn, PnP.

Did you get the low or the high tone model?
We have 2 stock horns correct, or just 1?
I had 2 freeway blasters on my Integra, they sounded good.

i put the fiamm freeway blaster on my car. took about 15 min. because it's really wide, i couldn't mount it in the stock location so it's mounted right behind the bumper which muffles the horn a bit, but it's way better than the embarrasing horn the car comes with.

people must drive with common sense up there...
i dont use mine that often but whenever my alarm goes off it's pretty embarrassing

honestly i dont even remember what our horn sounds like. i'll try to remember to press it on the way to work today.

Low tone, which doesn't sound too low but is fine. We have 1 stock horn and it sounds like the "meep meep" from road runner (freak)

Exactly the way I felt :D I never wanted to hear the damn thing, it was too embarassing - I'd rather just have that truck hit my car instead of beeping my horn.

Thanks. I need to change mine too. Locking the doors is enough for me to want to change the horn.
Freeway blaster low tone it is.
Where is the stock horn located BTW?
Does the bumper cover have to come off?

Not sure if the bumper has to come off or not. I think the grill does though. But if you look through the stock plastic mesh in the grill you should be able to find it. It's attached to the front of the radiator

The horn is behind the top grill - you can see it looking straight on. There are some screws and then some clips that hold it down. Looking around the grill and then from the front you'll be able to tell what to do and which way to pull.

Geez, Nate! Looks like a surplus air-raid siren left over from WW2!
Is that a roof mount? (lol2)

FIAMM makes a matched pair low/highs that are small enough to put
just about anywhere. Had a pair on my Alfa. Great, authoritative sound.

Think others have 'em, like import parts/accessories stores.

4 1/2" wide x 5 1/2" high x 3 3/4" deep

It's not THAT big, but it'll definately get some attention from those make-up appliers in their Escalades. ;)
