will 225 17" 55 fit on my mazdaspeed6

I was just wondering if my 225 ,17" ,55 winter tires would fit my mazda speed6 ?

stock size is 215/45-18

it should fit. it'll be a bit taller, but as long as you aren't dropped really low you should be fine.

225/50-17 is ideal

I'm not sure how different the front spindles are between the 6 and the speed6, but I put 215/55/17 snow tires on my '07 M6, and they fit, for the most part. The only place that was rubbing was on the top of the front spindle where it curves around the top of the tire and mounts to the shock. It doesn't rub much, but just enough. Also, if I hit a bump just right, the reight rear tire hits a very small, quarter-sized, spot on the rear-part of the fenderwell liner.

Outside of those two issues, they fit great. Plus I like the way the tire fills up the wheel wells more.
