Why are people so arrogant?

All I have to say is that this forum is full of a bunch of arrogant losers that cant except that a person who dosen't own a Mazda wants to talk about cars with them. I appreciate the few people who gave me a warm welcome when I posted. Thank you. Most of you on the other hand had nothing good to say. I hope the attitudes of several people here change, or you will lose several good members. I will make sure that I never post here again. I could probably be of help to several people here too, seeing as how I am a mechanic at a Ford delership, and we get Mazdas in frequently.

BLah understandable it has gotten rather shameful around here lately. People are just stuck on certain aspects and fail to see anything above that.

I was little shocked that a Focus was posting here, but least it was in the right forum. But then I figured that you may have some knowledge about performance etc.

Ignore some of the other people, alot of us are actually friendly.

Well said! The new Mazda3 I think is fugly and the platform will be shared with Ford. Oh well.

This forum is much more welcoming than most - try hanging out over at Protege Owner's Club. You want to talk about assholes, they're right there in Webster's Dictionary under that heading.

Feel free to stay, chat, post and share some insight / opinion. Just be warned that most people here don't like Neons, don't like Focuses (or is that 'Foci'?), and don't like pony cars (Mustangs, Camaros, Firebirds, et al.)

Hey man, I know how you feel. I've run into a bit of stupidity rom time to time and I'm an elder on here. Thing is, I really don't give 2 farts to the wind about what people on here think of me. It is just the internet after all and you'll probably never meet anyone on here in person. Getting bent out of shape about something someone said in a post is kinda like arguing in a chatroom on AOL. It's really rediculous and I say don't worry about it man. Don't let a couple of stupid posts ruin your view on the board. Almost everyone on here is cool people's with the exception for a couple of members who live in NC (drinks) and there are really no hard feelings there, just friend disagreements.

Hell, I was President of the RX-7 club of Austin for Christ's sake, and I haven't even owned an RX-7! But they chose me to represent the club based on my being an enthusiast, not because I had the same car as they did.
They didn't care that I had a lowly Protege5 (even though they didn't regard it that way, they COULD have like you little bastards) because it didn't matter. They were kool.

Just because you may have what you *think* is such a bad ass car doesn't give you the right to cut down others who have (only in your small mind) an inferior car.

Hey I am a Ford lover my self. I have had many Mustangs in my life and I plan on buying another one in the future. I don't like the Focus but I respect the people who have one. I think that people who start bashing someone for their car are ASSNECKS. We are here to share info and just have fun. As I also recall Ford owns I think 31% or something like that of Mazda. Anyways welcome to our Forum and have fun. **** what anyone says to you about your car. I would be interested in knowing what mods you have or what you plan on doing on your engine. Enjoy.
