Which NGK Spark Plug?

OK, just need some clarifications as I seemed to have confused myself

I need to change both my wife's plugs (2018 CX-9 2.5L) and mine (2019 CX-5 2.5T). Are these both the NGK 90288 (DILKAR7M8) plugs or does our CX-9 need the 94124 (ILKAR711) ones? I am seeing posts all over the place and both are mentioned.

And yes, I debated which forum to post this in (CX-5 or CX-9)!

I think the turbo and the NA 2.5L use different plugs.

I have a 2016 CX-5 sport 2.5L skyactiv with almost 74k that will soon be due for a spark plug change at 75k. Mazda requires the NGK Spark Plug ILKAR7L11 from Mazda with the Mazda branding. The Mazda version of the plug is significantly more expensive vs the NGK that you get at the local parts store.

However, when you look up the spark plug on the NGK parts finder they have they show Part # ILKAR7L11 and stock # 94124 (Actual OEM Manufacturer).

Mazda part # is PE5R-18-110

I have seen the past discussion of using the Mazda branded plug vs the one you get from NGK at the local auto...

I saw that as well, but I have seen plenty of instances where the 2.5L used the DILKAR7M8 plugs without issue.

Hence, my dilemma and confusion

Make sure the gap is correct on the plugs before you install! The ones I got from Amazon were completely off! Caused a slight stuttering at low rpm. So were the old ones I pulled out.

The NGK web site says 94124 (ILKAR7L11) for the non-turbo and 90288 (DILKAR7M8) for the turbo
