Poll: Which mode do you view Mazdas247 in...Dark or Light?

Yes, Mazdas247 finally has a dark mode! Here's a quick briefing on it...

* Update...You can now find it as "Dark/Light" at the top of the page in our main nav as well.

You can find it at the bottom of the page on the left. There are three modes/icons (select by clicking/tapping the icon)...

Half Circle = System Mode (it should match the mode of your browser and or OS)

Sun/Gear = Light Mode

Crescent Moon = Dark Mode

So which mode do you use or do you alternate between both?

I use light mode for the same reason I use it on another forum using the same software: you can't tell the difference between read/unread notifications with the dark theme.

Made some adjustments but I'm not sure how it will affect notifications yet...Will continue to monitor and adjust if possible.

Looks like the color theme is still the same for all of them. I do see the filled/unfilled dots, but I usually rely on the color as that's quicker for the eye/brain to process, like email.

Good to know! So far, I'm switching between both...Depends on the device and time of day for me...Nice to have the choice now..

I had no idea this feature was available till I came across this poll. On my PC, I pretty much view everything in dark mode. Dark mode equals to less strain on the eyes.

Another vote for Dark mode here. It's more comfortable after prolonged viewing of emails, spreadsheets, Word and pdf docs, etc. all day long. Getting older sucks....

Yeah after making adjustments to the default dark mode, I'm using it exclusively now...Love it!

That said, I do check the site in light mode from time to time just to make sure all is well with regards to visuals etc.
