Wheel wobble at full lock?

I've noticed this ever since I had the car. Sometimes when I turn the wheel all the way to one side I'll notice a wobbling when moving. It feels like I'm driving over a cobblestone road (it's not that bad but you get the idea). It seems more pronounced in reverse, and only happens when I'm going slowly.

I think my passenger-side, front wheel bearing is starting to go (slight oscillating grinding noise on the highway), could that be it? Or is this normal on our cars?

That happened to my car and it was the ball joint. It felt wobbly I thought my tire was going to fall off, and as the ball joint got worse it wobbled more and more at slower speeds and especially when I turned the wheel a certain direction.

Good to know, I suspect my driver-side ball joint is starting to go. Sometimes I'll get a "clunk" when running over the little bump at the end of the driveway. Once I amass enough money I need to get a set of control arms, tie rod ends, and perhaps some wheel bearings. This car is so much work...

My driver-side tire has a small bulge in the sidewall, but I'm pretty sure I experienced the wobble with my winter tires too.
