Ok after about a month of having my car i was taking off down the road getting on it a bit and all of a sudden the car slammed like it lost all power and then rpms raised back up an slammed again then the CEL came on. So i took it easy going home an called the dealer. The only mazdaspeed dealer around me is about 50 minutes. So i took it in an dropped it off. They called me up and said it was the shutter valve. So after about 3 days i picked the car up and they replaced it an gave the car a re-flash. Car was doing fine for about 3 weeks until one weekend i was leaving out on a cool morning the car start slamming again with a big powerloss. CEL on again. So i got down on it again an it was doing fine. Disconnected battery to get CEL off. So i had no problem for a couple of months. So about 3 weeks ago i got a letter in the mail saying it was a recall. So i took it in for those an they put a (modified) shutter valve in an re-programmed the ecu for it. The car did great for about a week an then the CEL comes back on. : ( next day it goes out, next day back on. What the hell is goin on?? Now the car is backfiring when i shift an the CEL isnt even on!
