What's involved in lubing the slider pins?

Once the tires are off do they have to remove anything else to get to the caliper pins?

Are they easily accessible to smear some grease on them?

When the dealer does a tire rotation I'd like to have them lube the pins.

I remember on my wife's CR-V dealer said it was a lot of trouble but I'm not sure I believe them.
