so i got my 06 MS6 a couple months ago... and the first thing i did was threw on a Fujita CAI. its helped but of course didnt make a huge difference. now that i am saving.... ne ideas on what i should get next? my friend suggested 3' piping... but wasnt sure if i should try and grab somethin next...thx!

Motor mount is usually a safe bet, but really it depends what you're trying to achieve. More power, better drivability, appearance, etc. What are you looking for?

^+1 on the motor mount, or some lowering springs if you want something for apperance/suspension. My RPM springs are my fave mod so far

i definitley like the idea of the suspension but im looking for more power based mods, which is why my friend suggested the 3' piping.

3" turbo back. go with cp-e catted downpipe and then maybe their exhaust or the corksport exhaust.

Seems like your new to modding. I would get a test pipe. Small, cheap, easy to install part of the exhaust that opens air flow. Makes your exhaust tone a bit deeper and gives you power.

Catback exhaust wont give you any power . . . its just for sound

Downpipe yields the most power but its hard to install and expensive.

You could also look into intercoolers. Those are also a bit pricey.

If your looking for good power gains, you should probably just save up and get the Cobb AP. You should see some good power gains even mostly stock.

the turbo inlet pipe is a restriction on the intake side. you could go that route and finish of the the cold side of the turbo.

I am relatively new to moding, i do know what each does, but not sure in what order or which first. any ways all seem like good ideas so ill definitley look into tyhose suggestions.

doing an intake, turbo inlet pipe or tmic will be the easiest. no crawlin around under the car or anything.

Best way is to start with small bolt on "basics"

These are easy to install / removable / make a difference

Intake - self explanitory
Test pipe - mid part of exhaust. opens up air flow and bolts on to stock or future aftermarket exhausts
BOV / BPV - no more leaking boost with the stock bpv
shifter bushings / short shifter - better shifting
sway bars / springs - tighten up handling
Intercooler - Do your research or start with a tmic. The resale is good so you can upgrade to a FMIC later.
Cobb AP - easy flash tuner

Those are a list of bolt ons. Any of them alone will make a difference. Those are all easily removable. My advice would be to start with those before you invest in stuff that is more "permanant" such as up'd turbos, fuel pumps, FMIC, downpipes. Not to say they arent removable but its much more difficult.

any one have the site for the corksport or cp-e exhaust?

also ne other sites for the Cobb AP or test pipe would be great :D

you can get the corksport exhaust at protegegarage.com as well as a test pipe and the AP.
