FWIW, A friend of mine just bought a '99 Civic Si. (you can see it in one of those pics) It has a DC header and stock exhaust after that. It sounds....different. Not quite the tone of having a muffler/catback/axle back/etc, but definitely louder than stock. Almost an exhaust leak type of sound, but not quite that bad of a sound.

Hmm... I'd have to check that out. I have a DC header and definitely not stock exhaust, but as a DD I'm wanting to do something with the exhaust. I'll probably just have a magnaflow or something put on the back with what I already have, but not sure.
