but you also have to weigh the whole "reliability" issue too...

i know for me, i wanted a little extra zooom-zoom in the 3, but since its my only car right now i couldnt afford to risk boosting it and have the motor pop... for me it made more sense to just add some bolt ons to add a little more zoom-zoom...

thats why I say finish building the protege and DD the 3... problems solved, money save. everybody happy!

since your in queens, come out to douglaston plaza tonight. we have a MS3/MZ3 meet every week there. you can hear the stock MS3 exhaust, 2.3 w/ MS3 CBE and 2.0 w/ MS3 CBE.

dude I'm 27 i make a decent amount of money and I always wanted two cars that I can have fun with. I even have the color scheme all worked out. I'm gonna leave my protege Gold w/ black accents and imma paint my 3 black and go with gold rims and accents. its just how i always imagined it. the money really isnt the issue. I only said that I was looking for a decent price on my 3 cause nobody walks into a dealership and says i wanna get *****!

stock mazdaspeed3 catback (with secondary cat removed for racepipe), Simota CAI, Thunder Catted Header, vcts delete and a few other things as well... i have a manual, so it wont sound quite like that but it gives you a rough idea

1. why did you buy the 2.0 if your into cars you wouldve gone for the 2.3, and this thread and your first one would not exist
2. your worried about being ***** on a used mz3, so u bought the ugliest color and are going to repaint the entire car? is that really cheaper than buying a black one from the get go??
3. I walked into the dealership and payed 500 over invoice when MGM first came out, noone rapes me

and just to twist that knife.. my cousing just bought a used 08 mz3 sedan, black on black, ~12K miles on it, 2.3, manual, pretty well optioned (has 17's and fogs, don't know much else about it)... and he paid 12K... so.. for 3 grand you coulda saved yourself about 2 weeks worth of labor, and... probably about 3 grand.
