Just curious to see if any others out there have a collecting addiction?

I used to collect Hotwheels by the droves, but not any longer.

Now I collect 1/24 scale DUB CITY "Old Skool" die cast models. I only collect the "Old Skool" line....I like it the most. All color and wheel variations included. I've only been doing it now for a couple of months, but my collection is starting to grow.

And you?

Hot wheels (any that appeal to me), Johnny Lightning cars, Matchbox cars, Zip Zaps, ect.

Basically any toy car. I'll have to post a pic of my Car room once I get them all up.

Genre can be anything from Imports to muscle cars to classics to race cars. I can't pass up ANY Mazda though, especially RX-7s. :D

I used to collect sports cards. I'm hoping one day my 3rd year Jordan and rookie cards of Shaq and Vladamir Guererro earn me some buck.

That's a lot of money. But I guess I'm no better, seeing as I "nickel-and-dime" myself to death with the 1/64 scale cars. If I had to put a figure on it, I would guess I have about $500 in my collection.

I've still got well over 500 Hotwheels M.I.B. in the attic.

lol..you gotta dedicate a room for them and plaster the walls with em!

Hobby stores sell sheet of cork that you can put up on the walls so you don't have to worry about hundreds of tiny holes in the walls. :)

I'm actually thinking about selling them. I already sold around fifty and it netted me almost $600.00

WOWSERS!!

Have any miatas?? They are the most difficult to find.
That and 2nd gen or 1st gen RX-7s.

Let me know!!!!

Got a bucket full of old hot wheels. Got a box of old cars. Got alot of knives.. hrm what do I collect..

I collect data, roughly 600GB on HD's - lord knows how much backed up on CDR and DVDR.

Movies, games, emulators, comic book scans, mp3's, music videos, television shows. Oh, and a decent amount of porn - probably about 30GB.

I never delete, I just buy more HD's. My next box will have RAID-5, because RAID-5 is your friend!

raid 5...jesus that's expensive/fast/lotta storage for someone who's not running a server!
Or are you? :)

Anyone have any idea why Jada does so many more cars in 1:24 as compared to 1:18 scale. All my models are 1:18 or 1:64 and I have no interest in doing 1:24 too. I am glad they finally did Impalas in 1:18 scalle but why 1:24? 1:18 and 1:64 are the more popular scales. Any insight?
