What did you pay for your new 2010 MS3...?

At first release of a new model, it is normally harder to cut a great deal. Even if you paid full price for the base MS3, it is still a good deal. Go online and haggle with dealers close by. Someone will give at least 500.00 off sticker. Also try to get an accessory or two thrown in. If you test drive first all bets are off!! I think I ended up paying $50.000 for mine!! lol

MSRP on mine (Black Mica w/ Tech Package) was 25,980. I paid 25,000 + TTL, which OTD was $26,218.

A great tool is the True Market Value pricing at Edmunds.com. It provides an average of what people have been paying.

That's a great price MS3 Kev!

The stealership I've been dealing with have sworn up and down they won't budge from MSRP...and they said the only thing they would consider
reducing is the $900 rust proof/body appearance charge they add to
all their cars. They claim the car is in such demand..they don't have to
reduce to sell.

Well..I went on the internet asking for quotes from dealerships withing a 100mile range...and all 3 gave me a reduced price from MSRP..$22,400 to be
exact...that's minus $1500. from retail!
Which would be $2500. less than my original dealer!!!!!!!!!!

Well...when informed of this they just said..."we are the high-volume dealer of this area...we can match or beat anyone"!

My biggest dilemna though?...I've found dealerships reducing '09 MX-5's
from $24K to $19K!
Never had any interest...but after driving the fast...super handler..I
can't decide now....2010 speed3 or '09 MX-5!
They both have their strengths..thew handling of the MX-5 is unreal!
But the power from the speed3 is unreal!(bike)

It's "official".....I don't like you!! lol j/k!

wow! wish I could hang like that!
hate to declare it on this side of this site...but the MX-5 is starting to gain
momentum in regards to my choice!
Yes...the MS3 is awesome..but the gears...whine of the engine...the ability
to take switchbacks like an F-1 car..the MX-5 makes me feel like
Kimi Raiikonen at Nurburging(sp?)...it's an awesome car!!

ok, picked mine up today for $500 over invoice. Liquid Silver (no tech pack). Love it!

Now I just have to choose which car to drive every day, the MS3 or my '99 miata with Flyin Miata Stage2 suspension. ;-) Or I could always take the '08 Mazda5.

We're weird mazda people now, lol

FWIW, S-Plan on the MS3 sport is $21,9XX. Add a couple hundred dollars for extras like floor mats and locking lugs, plus $1500 estimated for tax and you've got your purchase price.

S-plan is a friends and family discount on Mazda. If you know anyone who works for Ford, they can get you a PIN to lower the price.

Paid sticker. Couldn't get them to budge at all. They just showed up around here this week so I wasn't too shocked to pay sticker. Fine by me...ill be keeping it for life anyway.
