What did you do to celebrate July 4th?

Every July 4th in Hyannis, Cape Cod we have a small parade during the day which is led down Main Street.

A guy in our parade had a tricked out lawn mower! Chrome side pipes, flame job, shiny wheel covers, etc...

had a few family members over, grilled some meats, was in bed by 9:30 cuz im not feeling well lol...

Grilled some steaks and drank some beer. Then walked down the street to the river and watched the fireworks display downtown.

went to the in laws, ate a rack of ribs, washed it down with a few newcastles, and watched some of the mythbusters marathon.

Washed the truck, then watched it rain.

I had some good BBQ, swam, lit fireworks, ate some homeade icecream from my Grandma, then played the Wii with my cousins the rest of the night.

stayed at home with my dogs. It is there worst day...fireworks drive them nuts.

Worked till 4am but this is my 4 year anniversary since i came home from iraq so i had a drink afterwards..

X2 ....my oldest pup hates this time of the year...if he's outside and hears the faintest pop from fireworks he's off to the front door....he stayed pretty much on me when the fireworks really started last night...

Had a lazy morning; we met a friend for lunch; went grocery shopping; made a tasty fruit salad with blackberry-basil vinaigrette dressing; went over to some friends for dinner (grilled mackeral, pilaf, the fruit salad, couscous, corn on the cob, yummy blueberry macadamia nut coffee cake); went to watch fireworks at a local country club on the golf course; then watched the guys light/shoot fireworks; then watched the guys accidentally set and then stamp out a small fire from said fireworks; headed home.

grilled, went to the pool, watched the amc american hero marathon on amc including patton, force 10 from navarone and red dawn, then fire works in annapolis, then came home, had beer, and watched neighbors set off fireworks. was nice
