hmm since your deck is on the bottom (CD RECIVER) are their any heat issues? i have a pioneer deck and it seams to get reasonably hot when used for more than 1hr

I have an alpine deck and had to mount it on the bottom. I'm just gonna say this...it gets hot...really hot. Actually, sometimes the cd's come out almost too hot to touch. I can deal with it until I can actually find somebody that will do a custom install for the bracket. Some idiot gave me the wrong bracket when they installed it, and it doesn't fit correctly.

i have run both decks for many hours and my dvd player (top one) ejects hot dvds! i presume this is normal, since running any cd or dvd for long periods of time will make them hot. however, i have never had any problems running dvds or cds, even on the hottest of days this summer.

I have been in love w/ JL Audio stereo components since my first car, Syzygy. I had one 10w3 sub in my corolla and it rocked. The shear musical reproduction was amazing.

I like MB Quart, too, but my wallet does not. I actually saw a "SALES FLYER" with a set of MB Quart 6.5"'s for $1,299.99.  That's just one pair.
