I have a 2022 Mazda3 2.5L NA automatic. sometimes i notice when I'm attempting to accelerate that my rpm will spike (downshifting) almost 2 whole seconds before i actually accelerate, sometimes more. What is with this delay? Is it normal?
- sometimes when i press down the gas to accelerate, the engine revs but the RPMs do not change (oddly, the reverse of the issue as above) and i don’t accelerate.
- and sometimes when i rlly punch it, the acceleration is extremely jerky
No lights, no grinding/whining/chirping or sounds of any kind, transmission fluid was completely fine as of 3 weeks ago.
