WeatherTech Cargo Liner for CX-70

I've had my CX70 since the beginning of June and have been patiently waiting for WeatherTech to release their Cargo Liner for CX70. While I sighed up to be notified it's available, I checked over the weekend and it appears to be available (so much for being notified). I've ordered it and while it's still processing, I'll take pics and a little review when it finally is delivered.

Just wanted to let others know it can be ordered if you've been waiting for it.

The Cargo Liner arrived yesterday and I have to say it was worth the wait and exactly what I'd expect From WeatherTech. It comes in a box, rolled up, so if you get one, it will need time to flatten completely. I used gallon jugs of water at the four corners, leaving them there overnight and now it's completely flat and looks terrific. I did have the rear seats reclined completely, which had to be raised a little bit to make it fit perfectly. Otherwise, it's simply a perfect fit for the CX70 Cargo Area.

Do you think there is any reason why they didn’t extend the liner to the pocket on the left side?

Yes I do. It's an open bin area, which you can store something in and covering it would make it harder to get to whatever you may have put there. In addition, if they had extended the liner to cover that open area, it wouldn't be supported underneath.

I may have to consider this for our daughter's CX-70, fitment is great! I bought her the OEM all-weather mats for the cabin and wish that Mazda offered a cargo liner with seatback protection for the CX-70 like they do the CX-50. They have the padded cargo liner but I am not sure how well that will stand up to liquid spills, etc.

Thanks for sharing!

My car came with the padded cargo liner. HUGE and CUMBERSOME are two words to describe it. It was folded and put on a shelf in the garage until I could get this WeatherTech cargo liner.
