wash and wax

i went home for the weekend and got to spend alittle bit of quality time with my baby. i went to auto zone and bought the new mr. clean car wash system, a bottle of eagle-one nanowax (9.99 with a free applicator and buff rag, with a 9.99 mail in rebate) some rain-x and a new set of wiper blades. so here is my review each out of 5 stars:

1- mr. clean car wash: it is the s***. the soap works well, but be perpared for some exrta scrubbing if it has been awhile since your last wash. the fact that you dont have to dry the car is KEY. drying IMO is by far the worst part of washing a car yourself. the kit cost me $18 and should last 3 washes before i have to buy more soap and filters. VERDICT: *****

2- the eagle-one nanowax. it was free. it worked very well, and it came with it's own buffer and applicator. you cant beat free stuff, expecially when it works. unfortuanatly it rained two days after i spent the time to wash and wax, but the wax held up and the water beaded beautifully. VERDICT: *****

3- the new bosh micro-edge wiper blades and the rain-x. not much to report, i mean if youve done this before you know how im feeling. i drove back to tennessee from cincinnati this morning and it rained... and i got a huge boner. the water couldnt stay on the windshiled long enough for me to use the new wipers. it was awesome. VERDICT: *****

I *LOVE* Rain-X. It's so much fun to watch the water slide right up the windshield.

Been reading a bunch on the clean systems and so far everyone really likes it. One guy on another forum even did half his car with it and the other half without it and it looked much better.

i've looked at it alot... i'll prolly buy it when i run out of zymol wash. do you have to put there car wash in it? REMillers has the awesomest av, the cheat as strongsad's leg. awesome.

I want to get the rain ex just for the boner factor of your story...haha....

I personally use One Grand Blitz wax..... it poured rain for 4 days after I waxed it and basically just get a rag and dust everything off after and the car looks like you just waxed it...feels like it too! Still smooth and slippery feeling! Love the stuff!

do you have to put there car wash in it?

I wouldnt say "have to" I would think its recomended, because the wash hava an ingredient that dries it for you.

Is it a paste wax or liquid? Asking cause I always end up with white residue in cracks.
