I new that this was going to be a close race so I asked some of my Honda buddy’s for some of their vinyl performance stickers. I ran to my car and started tuning with these stickers because I new the position of them meant everything. As I was finishing up a girl from nowhere came to me and handed me a vinyl windshield banner type sticker that fit perfectly. After she helped me put it on I turned around and she had disappeared just as mysteriously as she appeared.
I then let a few pounds of air from the front tires for better traction. Once we were both prepped and ready to go we took to the line and did our burnouts. I laid one down like no other. It took minutes for the smoke from my tires to clear but now I was ready. We both staged and revved our engines. My new “Grapefruit Shooter” performance exhaust from Rice Performance sounded so good. I revved the engine to 12 grand then the flagman dropped his hands I dumped the clutch and ripped off the line. The power of the MP3 threw me to the back of my seat with great force.
I spun a bit off the line but so did the Integra so we were about even at the launch. As my RPM’s started to climb I could feel the newly founded power of the vinyl stickers pushing me back in the seat and my cheeks started to pull back from all the G-Force that my car was pulling in first gear. It was when I hit second at fifteen thousand RPM that I made the biggest jump on the Integra. I could no longer see the car in my peripheral vision. I new he was in my blind spot because I could not see him in the rear view mirror. All the way through second I pulled on the poor Integra and at the end of second I could start to see him in the rear view mirror. In third and fourth we were about even but I think I pulled a little more on him then as well.
When it was done and I returned to the gathering everyone was giving me high 5’s and pats on the back. I could almost see that girl in the distance waving at me. There was a ricer MP3 boy there that decided he wanted to take me. I knew this would be no match, but to make sure, I added two snake tatoos to my arm, and bought a brand new white wife-beater shirt. To make sure my new shirt wouldn't slip on my pleather seats, I spilled some catsup and beer on it.
I've heard this MP3 handles like a dream, so I called my wife Brandene up and had her sit in the passenger seat. She wanted to bring 3 of our 9 kids, but I wouldn't allow it. Her 200lbs alone would make my car handle all the better. You see, its all physics when you consider a I4 vs. a V8. And I know a lot about physics, so the extra weight was what I needed.
Needless to say, we started off at the track on a straightaway. With my physics, I obviously pulled on that ricer MP3. We got to the first corner (a hard right), and I slowed from 70mph to 10mph. For some reason my car still nearly skidded off the track. That damn ricer bolted right past me at 40mph. I slapped Brandene across the face and she started crying. She threatened she would leave me if I didn't stop.
I caught up to the ricer on every straightaway, but for some reason my 3400 lb. Z28 couldn't quite do it on the turns. Physics must have taken the day off that sad sad day.
The damn ricer beat me by a hair after pulling out of the turn and onto the short stretch just before the finish. I told him next time I'd have Brandene and 4 of my kids in the trunk to help me in the turns. I then proceded to say the word Physics fifty times, and then drove off into the sunset without Brandene. To this day I don't know where she is!

My story actually happens.
I am a little disturbed at the misconceptions that most people have over F-body type cars. Sure they weigh more because they have a larger engine. They do not weigh as much as some of you think they do. Also they handle quite well and with some aftermarket parts they can easily pull over a G. I would not dog the F-bodies if I were you because they are incredibly fast and with some aftermarket suspension they can corner quite well. Even if you turbo the MP3 it still will not match the F-bodies. I am not slamming your car just politely pointing out facts. Oh, and one more thing your car is more affordable to the “trash” you described than the Camaro.
I have actually witnessed someone point to the stickers on their car before a street race. It was the funniest thing I had seen in a while. Question... What the hell did you expect to happen after posting that story? I'm sorry but you're not politely pointing out the facts with your first post. You're being a jackass by making us feel stupid for the actions of moron ricers. I can't stand ricers. I laugh at them. But christ almighty, WE ARE NOT ALL RICERS.
Do not assume I do not respect the F-bodies(or in G-Funk-allstar-terms, "dog the F-bodies"). I've ridden in Camaros and I've ridden in Mustangs. I understand that they're fast. You know what? I'm so ******* happy they're fast! Sweet lord I love it! You've proven your point! I HAVE SEEN THE LIGHT! A V8 is REALLY faster than an I4! What was I thinking?! (please notice the sarcasm)
My point here is this: just because some ricer points to a sticker does not mean you have the right to assume we all would do the same. I only branded all Camaro drivers as rednecks in my post because you branded all MP3 drivers as ricers.
As for affordability. In this day and age, any joe-shmoe could easily get a loan for the $4.5k more that a Z28 costs... Many MP3s went for $21-22k with markup anyhow.

Yeah, you can put a suspension on a Camaro and make it handle well, your going to spend more to get it becuase the Camaro does weigh a lot. As for pushing 1 G on the skid pad, that will cost quite a bit for a Camaro. Look at the Saleen and Rousch Mustangs, they have all kinds of suspesnion goodies and they mkae less than 1 G, and they weigh less than the Camaro, and cost a lot more.

I new that this was going to be a close race so I asked some of my Honda buddy’s for some of their vinyl performance stickers. I ran to my car and started tuning with these stickers because I new the position of them meant everything. As I was finishing up a girl from nowhere came to me and handed me a vinyl windshield banner type sticker that fit perfectly. After she helped me put it on I turned around and she had disappeared just as mysteriously as she appeared.
I then let a few pounds of air from the front tires for better traction. Once we were both prepped and ready to go we took to the line and did our burnouts. I laid one down like no other. It took minutes for the smoke from my tires to clear but now I was ready. We both staged and revved our engines. My new “Grapefruit Shooter” performance exhaust from Rice Performance sounded so good. I revved the engine to 12 grand then the flagman dropped his hands I dumped the clutch and ripped off the line. The power of the MP3 threw me to the back of my seat with great force.
I spun a bit off the line but so did the Integra so we were about even at the launch. As my RPM’s started to climb I could feel the newly founded power of the vinyl stickers pushing me back in the seat and my cheeks started to pull back from all the G-Force that my car was pulling in first gear. It was when I hit second at fifteen thousand RPM that I made the biggest jump on the Integra. I could no longer see the car in my peripheral vision. I new he was in my blind spot because I could not see him in the rear view mirror. All the way through second I pulled on the poor Integra and at the end of second I could start to see him in the rear view mirror. In third and fourth we were about even but I think I pulled a little more on him then as well.
When it was done and I returned to the gathering everyone was giving me high 5’s and pats on the back. I could almost see that girl in the distance waving at me. There was a ricer MP3 boy there that decided he wanted to take me. I knew this would be no match, but to make sure, I added two snake tatoos to my arm, and bought a brand new white wife-beater shirt. To make sure my new shirt wouldn't slip on my pleather seats, I spilled some catsup and beer on it.
I've heard this MP3 handles like a dream, so I called my wife Brandene up and had her sit in the passenger seat. She wanted to bring 3 of our 9 kids, but I wouldn't allow it. Her 200lbs alone would make my car handle all the better. You see, its all physics when you consider a I4 vs. a V8. And I know a lot about physics, so the extra weight was what I needed.
Needless to say, we started off at the track on a straightaway. With my physics, I obviously pulled on that ricer MP3. We got to the first corner (a hard right), and I slowed from 70mph to 10mph. For some reason my car still nearly skidded off the track. That damn ricer bolted right past me at 40mph. I slapped Brandene across the face and she started crying. She threatened she would leave me if I didn't stop.
I caught up to the ricer on every straightaway, but for some reason my 3400 lb. Z28 couldn't quite do it on the turns. Physics must have taken the day off that sad sad day.
The damn ricer beat me by a hair after pulling out of the turn and onto the short stretch just before the finish. I told him next time I'd have Brandene and 4 of my kids in the trunk to help me in the turns. I then proceded to say the word Physics fifty times, and then drove off into the sunset without Brandene. To this day I don't know where she is!

My story actually happens.
I am a little disturbed at the misconceptions that most people have over F-body type cars. Sure they weigh more because they have a larger engine. They do not weigh as much as some of you think they do. Also they handle quite well and with some aftermarket parts they can easily pull over a G. I would not dog the F-bodies if I were you because they are incredibly fast and with some aftermarket suspension they can corner quite well. Even if you turbo the MP3 it still will not match the F-bodies. I am not slamming your car just politely pointing out facts. Oh, and one more thing your car is more affordable to the “trash” you described than the Camaro.
I have actually witnessed someone point to the stickers on their car before a street race. It was the funniest thing I had seen in a while. Do not assume I do not respect the F-bodies(or in G-Funk-allstar-terms, "dog the F-bodies"). I've ridden in Camaros and I've ridden in Mustangs. I understand that they're fast. You know what? I'm so ******* happy they're fast! Sweet lord I love it! You've proven your point! I HAVE SEEN THE LIGHT! A V8 is REALLY faster than an I4! What was I thinking?! (please notice the sarcasm)
My point here is this: just because some ricer points to a sticker does not mean you have the right to assume we all would do the same. I only branded all Camaro drivers as rednecks in my post because you branded all MP3 drivers as ricers.
As for affordability. In this day and age, any joe-shmoe could easily get a loan for the $4.5k more that a Z28 costs... Many MP3s went for $21-22k with markup anyhow.

And I don't care how fast a Z28 is, any jackass can make a Z28 or any V8 fast. But tuning a 4 cilly requires some actual know how and som research. Further more Z28's are a dime-a-dozen, there's nothing unique about owning one.

Yeah, you can put a suspension on a Camaro and make it handle well, your going to spend more to get it becuase the Camaro does weigh a lot. As for pushing 1 G on the skid pad, that will cost quite a bit for a Camaro. Look at the Saleen and Rousch Mustangs, they have all kinds of suspesnion goodies and they mkae less than 1 G, and they weigh less than the Camaro, and cost a lot more.
