turfburn just posted this in another thread.
"We have not done any more development yet on the OBDII and the CEL. The car we were going to do it on had problems with the forged motor that was put in it, and until that gets resolved things are on a bit of a hold. Hopefully in July we will be able to get going on it.
The 8 does not log wideband inputs, only the 10. The 10 also can do more with idle control which is a big bonus.
As far as miscellaneous parts you need a few white wire crimps and two terminals and that's about it. If you want to go for OBDII emissions though, you can use automotive connectors to connectorize the setup like a customer of mine did and that results in being able to switch between the Microtech and the stock ECU in literally about 2 minutes.
You should be fine with winter driving. It can correct for that. I drove my car down to about 10 degree fahrenheit without any issue. So just a matter of getting it tuned. If you connectorized it though you could easily pull it out in winter like you mentioned. If you do a plug and play harness you'd be just fine obviously. YOu don't do any mods and you use all stock sensors so you'd be in good shape.
No problem on the questions. Email (sales@nsnmotorsports.com) and PM are actualy usually the easiest way to get fast answers from me. I move around a lot so I'm not always able to answer the phone.
later!
