How much longer do I have to wait for my Blue MPS? The dealers don't have a clue and I called Mazda for and info, but nothing....

Has any one heard anything, I think if anyone would know it would be you all.....

i saw one yesterday at my dealership. They look freaking awesome with the new wing.

Not do start a flame war, but aside from a prototype at an autoshow, know one has seen an blue msp. Not only that but there are NONE on mazda's online inventory. Maybe the dealership you went to had the prototype or you saw a used mp3 or somthing but I don't think they are out yet. Especially since the 03.5 brochure states that the blue and silver are scheduled for "late summer release."

the dealership near me has the blues and silvers already. They have also had the yellow for awile. Still no sigh of titanium

Well I stand corrected. Spicy's word is good enough for me! Sorry I doubted you ATL. No hard feelings?

I've seen the blues, titaniums, yellow and 2003 spicy orange ones out at Vancouver's Mazda dockyard. There are about 25 titanium, 25 yellow, 5 blue and 1 2003 Orange that is still brand new.

They actually don't put that godawful 2003.5 wing on until it is presold to a dealership. So there are a bunch of titaniums with no wings and they look wicked. I like it much better. I wonder if you can order the cars without the wing?

So Canada is definitely getting the blue!

One more thing: how can you tell the titanium apart from the silver? Silver is lighter? less gray? ????

I thought canada only gets titanium and yellow for 03.5. They are getting the blue and silver as well? i will see msp just as much as civics out there

The silver is much darker than the ES Sedan or P5 Silver. Its basically the paint equivalent of the 2003.5 wheel finish, with all I can describe as a "fuller" look.

The Vancouver Port is the location for all West Coast Mazda's, so if there is only 5 Blue ones sitting there, I have a suspicion they are for public sale pieces. They are also set apart from the others, and have been for some time. From what I understood, we won't get that color for public sale in Canada, just like they didn't give us black in 2003 those bastards!

As for seeing as many MSP's as Civics, with the nubmer and price, I doubt it. The approx 50 or so MSP are for all of Western Canada, I'm sure there are more available, but it is very limited. The two dealers I've seen with the 2003.5's can't test drive, and none of the staff even got a ride in the one sample they have on the showroom floor. I can't imagine that helps selling these cars? Not letting people testdrive them that is. No off the street sales, only people that know they want that car before they even go in there.

so exactly how many MSP's are going to be produced? i also read on the brochure that blue and silver were going to be out as well.

I've got the canadian brouchure. No blue, or silver for Canada, and I've been told from Mazda Canada as well that we won't be getting them.

Those cars are probably going somewhere else.

I've got a blue mp3, and a titanium in my driveway, and the titanium looks much better imho. It's a more classy, rich color, and with the metallic in it, it's awesome.

I want an MPS, I want an MPS!!!!

What's an MPS? (chair)

I guess I will have to settle for an MSP, or as I prefer: MAZDASPEED

MPS = Mazda Performance Series.

The MP3 and MSP are both MPS cars, AFAIK.
