Vibration/Buzzing while Downshifting

Hey guys. I recently just installed the corksport testpipe and wasn't able to get both hangers in the rubber grommets. So basically one is in, and one is out. I carelessly downshifted yesterday coming off the highway and ended up putting the engine at around 4k rpm and got a weird buzz from below. Could that be the hanger? I've read that some guys with SU testpipe get all kinds of vibs and sounds because it doesn't have any hangers at all. Just asking to make sure it's not something serious.

Yes, test pipe will add vibes, even with both hangers on. One off ain't likely to help matters much. My Corksport does it; it's pretty mild but, present nonetheless.

Yeah I went under my car last night to see if I could adjust anything. Bolts were still really tight, but I was able to position the grommet between the hanger and the nearby slab of metal that it was probably rubbing against. We'll see if that helps, if not, I don't really car if it's just harmless vibrations. Thanks!

grease the grommets with silicone brake grease or some other non-petro based slick stuff and slide the grommet on. Don't be chicken about hacksawing a 1/2 inch off the end of the hanger rod, either, if you have to.
