K this may have been covered in past, but i'm kinda curious. I know vacum helps make an engine run, but I saw a post on hooking blow off valve to a brake booster line. Now doing this, is it using the vacum to suck the air from the blow off valve out faster, to help keep it from being sparatic, and is that why the turkey is depleted. And do all blow off valve applications work this way? I'm new to vacum/boost pressure, i know how a turbo works, but never have looked into blow off valves....Thanks, hope this isn't a repost(huh)

Yea the brake booster line is a strong vacum source to make the bov work better . It helped my hks ssqv work 100 times better because the vacum i hjad it to i still got the turkey some . Know i have 0 turkey F the butterball now . Byt yea i didnt know anything about turbos until i got on this forum and there alot of members here who rally help. So read up and learn and ask questions if you cant find out . (direct)

HMM, I just saw that thread about the brake booster line recently. I just installed my BOV & I just used the factory wastegate line that my BPV was connected to. It would be really nice if I got rid of the turkey...how would I go about swapping the lines & what would I do with the wastegate line?

h

leave wastegate line were it was stock and but your bov on brake booster line no turkey Theres a post on like page three . 505 took better pics than me. i also posted the part number and pics for the y adapter

Is this only for people running a BOV with the stock BPV? My wastegate line was on the stock BPV & now it's on the BOV...I don't know how I am supposed to "leave where it was stock".

just pull the y fitting and run the wastegate on its own...either plug off the end that used to go to ur bov or replace the fittin......with the bov and wastegate on their own vac sources...they both will run stronger

the bov or bpv is only used to release access air or vacuum that is left behind when the thottle body is shut....becuase the air is allowed to vent it iwll not go back to the turbo and cus the "turkey"......with a solid vacuum source...the bov is more solid in its ability to open and vent the air...hence....better job of elimnating the turkey :)

Will this also eliminate the "turkey" heard with an open air filter running the stock BPV(recirculated of course)??

cool, thats what i thought that would do but i was just checking to see if my guess was right.....thanks mang :)
