URGENT: How do i pull the factory stereo?

i've been @#$@#'ing with it for the past hour and i cant get it to release, i've done it in the past, but i can't remember what i did

get a din removal tool from walmart

Bend some coat hangers into horseshoe shapes that will fit in the top and bottom holes of the deck on either side of it. You have to use a small flat head screwdriver for the slot that is in between of each of each pair of holes, from there you jsut pull it out.

update: i was trying to pull some extra length from the xm fm modulator wires i had taped behind the deck... i gave up and just stuck my arm through the space above the HVAC controls, and in the place where the tape deck would go... i'm missing half the skin on my arm, but i got my wires.... ouch
