Yes. We are making a Cold Air and a Short Ram and possibly even IC piping!!

The SRS P/N is 22-486 and the CAI is P/N 21-486. The price will be posted on the AEM website soon.

So, they ARE making both...I'll take a SRI in red, but would the CAI be the V2? I wasn't aware that AEM made IC piping for any cars. I just looked & I didn't see any on their site? Any more info about this would be appreciated.

im sure dyno results will be posted either by the guy on the forum that lent them his car..if not by AEM.. im pretty sure it'll be on their site tho (i hope)... but yah, Robert said that (quoting):

"The V2 will not be made for the MazdaSpeed... atleast not yet."

Dyno Results are useless you all do realize this right.. esp for minor bolt ons like a CAI... its not a reliable way or seeing how much hp you get, because alot depends on the car tested the conditions, etc.

It can show improvement, but just because their car made 9more hp doesnt mean yours will too.

With that said, there will be an improvement over any stock system with a system that is higher flow, or less resistance.
AEM, Injen, homemade, intakes are intakes....

Well, the addition of an intake may not improve much over a stock car, but the increases in HP will be noticable when boost is increased, or with the addition of more parts, such as a DP, FMIC, etc. It will help out with the overall power gains of the MSP when future modding is done.

Finally, someone who knows some stuff.

thank you!!

By the way...
Im no car genius, hell im very much in the learning stages. Just have some common sense and stop asking for dyno numbers. :D

Got any IQ stats to prove that? :D :D :D jk ;)

Ok I'll stop asking for stats :P :D

Uhm... so how many seconds did it take off your 0-60 time??? :D

tru. I got an injen. And i dont really pay much attention to the dyno or whatever. Cuz it doesnt really do much. Just minor hp gain.

Wow, I'm surprised someone actually responded to my post. Thanks for the compliment. I always thought people saw my name, and then just skipped over my posts.

Also, sometimes it just shows that you love your car that much more when you spend some money on it.

dude i know what i get taht same feeling. lol. its cool tho. i respect the peeps here. they know more than i do. jsut learning.

Yea but why spend more for the same thing? :D
Thats why im abotu custom stuff. Works just as good, and is usually 2/3 the price, or less.

Not is its not CARB approved. You get pulled over and its not street legal, then what? Might as well be safe.
