Two Single Din unit

What's up guys? I'd like to know how do I proceed to install two(2) single din's unit in my MSP? I would move the Kenwood to the lower din(where the cd holder pocker is now) and my Pioneer with motorized screen in the upper din. Thanks

I'm not sure how to take out the pocket...once you do that it's all academic...just slide it in and you should be all set. I don't think you need a support bracket or anything, but I could be wrong.

Is the Pioneer just a screen? No power amp or anything in it?

The pioneer is actually a Cd Player, with 50W X 4 and front/back/nf preouts. But I was gonna keep the kenwood to suplly sound and the Pioneer for Video. Any idea?

Which pio model is it? it's a LCD screen that got a CD player (no DVD)?!?! Weirds...see, my idea is to replace the Kenwood POS with either a pio or Alpine DVD player/LCD. Both are more reliable and should have better SQ.

Likewise, the Pio you have is probably better than the Kenwood...it's kinda silly to have a redundant system like that. The Kenwood's SQ isn't really spectacular (though it's not terrible either). You'd also need to get the kenwood's input cable to accept input from the Pioneer (for if you're watching movies, etc.). It just seems like pickin one or the other is really a better choice...but I maybe I need to understand your reasoning a bit better for wanting to use both...

The Pioneer AVH-P6400CD, plays CD, CD-R(W)'s but doesn't play MP3's nor DVD's.. the Dvd are taken car of by the PS2 or Xbox. So basically I was just keeping the Kenwood for the Mp3 Playability.. but then again with the downfall of free music.. there's really no need for it I guess.. so I should sell the Kenwood and just go with the Pio.. Thoughts?

I'd say let the Pio do all of the work. The Kenwood has more adjustability for sound control, but in reality the system should be set to "flat" and you just control the NF output level. I'd just use the Pio, but that's because I very rarely use MP3s...

Yeah, I hear ya.. I don't really use Mp3's either.. so why bother, I'm just gonna swap them. 20 minutes work.

I would just use the pio unit. not worry about them both. make things way more simple on install and wiring. plus the xbox will let you store music on the HD. you could use that instead of mp3's.
