Hello,
We've just upgraded our dyno to a new load control dyno jet.
For those of you that don't know the difference, there are two types of chassis dynos: Inertia and load control. The classic inertia dyno is great for WOT runs but lacks the load capability for tuning. Load is the equivalent of weight of the vehicle, resistance from wind etc... which change all the variables when tuning. Dyno technology has come quite far in the past few years but the upgrade was double the cost of our last dyno, but we feel it is definitely worth the price. The other advantage is the ability to run WOT just like the traditional dynojet. Very few people have "this" dyno and if a shop has had their dyno more than 2 years, more than likely it's the traditional dynojet.
Please feel free to stop by.
Thanks,
