This 2008 CX-9 GT is a friend of mines. He asked me to replace front passenger CV axle. (completed). I started engine put in drive..went thru gears..no problem. When I put it in Reverse...ALOT of screeching noises from the tranny. I am not a transmission guy, by no means. But if fluid level is ok, drive is ok...reverse has a BIG issue. More than likely...he needs a transmission. Wouldn't you think??.

He had bought this vehicle off of market place...( now he tells me ). Why he didn't take me to check it out is a question for another day. I just checked the trans fluid level. About 3 quarts too much. So...previous owner sold him pile of metal with alot of issues....some people never learn?..
