To all the loser car obsessors

Dear losers,
I want to clarify that this is NOT against Linux anymore. This is against anyone who obsesses about a machine that rolls on 4 wheels.

I am a lab researcher that spends my time helping find the mechanisms of how Alzeiheimer's disease, Lou Gehrig's disease, multiple sclerosis, and so on. I just find it hard to believe you guys can have so much free time on hobbies while someone like myself spends our lives trying to improve lives of others.

What if one day you are diagnosed with one of these neurodegenrative diseases? Without others such as myself, you would die, or atleast suffer in agony while your brain literally falls apart and you have less brain capacity than a 2 month old infant.

So stop bashing me for trying to get you to realize REALITY.

How many of you out on this site are doctors, lawyers, business men? I would say less than 5%. You guys are young people with too many desires for a machine.

I will NOT lower myself as I have in the past few days with harsh, bitter words but with words of wisdom.

Asianhottie, this is beyond ridiculous. All you are doing is attempting to stir up trouble and it will stop or you will simply be banned.

You have no idea of what people here do for a living, nor should it matter anyhow. Do you think that because one is a lawyer that makes him better than somebody who works as a mechanic for instance? All people are created equal so by bragging about your job, while it is a worthy career, will not win you any fans.

People coming to this site come here to discuss their vehicles. It is not an obsession to merely want to talk about your car. I am frankly fed up with your attitude as you seem to feel that you are better than other people in general. The fact that you are here posting away about our supposed obsession is in and of itself an obsession.

I respect that you have your own feelings on whether or not we are wasting our time, however it is our time to waste if we desire and we have free will to do so if we wish so I'm asking you to please cease all your posting that is merely trolling as I see it now...meant to get responses.

Regular forum members, I know the temptation is to respond back and get into an argument with her, but I can assure you that is exactly what she wants...she is craving attention. I ask that you NOT reply in this thread anymore and I call on one of the moderators to lock this thread(and any subsequent threads) immediately.

You have judged us too quickly. This is our hobby, not our life. We are successful people. We are engineers, graphical designers, programmers, and students just to name a few. Do you use the internet to research diseases, find info on what other labs are doing, email findings to other researchers? The internet does not function alone. We keep you connected to the entire world.

What do you do to relieve stress or as a hobby? Do you go jogging, read a book, take a bath. We work on and learn all we can about cars. When I get to this site or work on my car, I dont think of anything else. Its my complete release from all stresses.

I work 40 hours a week, go to school full time, teach Hapkido two nights a week, and help maintain this site. Without this site to go to and relax, I would go crazy.

You do not have the right to judge us. We are good people with good intentions. If I ever have one of the diseases you are searching for a cure for, I will be extremely thankful that there are people like you. But the world wouldn't advance if everyone worked to find cures for diseases.

You are right Kat.
But the thing is Linux, my boyfriend, spends all of his money on the car. We couldn't even afford McDonald's one week because of something he got the car. Wouldn't you be frustrated too? He didn't buy me anything for last Mother's day or my birthday because he spent his money on the car.

Also, sometimes he dumps our baby on me to watch when I have to study for a test or right after I come home from work.

I have no problem with people who like cars, just people who ignore more important responsibilities, that's all.

No offense, but this is like a vegeterian extremist from greenpeace going to a gun convention and posting huge signs everywhere saying "hey LOSERS, you're all a bunch of trigger happy gun freaks. so yeah, stop killing those poor defenseless animals". You would get kicked out (duh).

So seriously if you have beef (pun intended) with Linux fine.. just be considerate of others. This thread here, is INconsiderate, and that's why I'm closing it. If all you can post is flamebait, post in the flamewars forum.
