N Newf Jan 12, 2003 #2 good question. I've been trying to zoom into all of the pics trying to see just that....so far nothing seems to indicate it's not just grey

J JasonH Member Jan 13, 2003 #3 It's metallic. It's the same paint that was used on the 2002 SE Miata (as is the yellow metallic.) In fact, I saw one on th eorad over the weekend. I mistook it for a Jag at first. The color is very similar to the titanium color used on new Jaguars.
