Hi

We will be purchasing a used 08 from Carmax and I was interested in what 20" tires to buy in the future. We live in SC so snowfall is negligible..

I've heard bad reviews about the Dueller's. However is this based off of their performance in the snow. We are looking for tires around the $100/each price range. Is that even feasible? Should we go with an off size (I know we would get more options that way) ??

THank you !!

Visit tirerack.com to see a list of available tires that fit CX9 (18" or 20").
You can also see the reviews from owners.
(skip those reviews with only few miles reported)
You will see why Yokohama Parada Spec-X is so popular. It is reasonably priced for its outstanding performance.

will go with the Yokos..

secondly where did you get your SCAN GUAGE from and 2009 NaviMap..didn't know that had that out already

For NAVI map, officially, you can buy the update disc from mazdanavigation.com for $199.
Or, have some nice guy send you a ISO and burn it yourself (not that I encourage you to do this).

For ScanGaugeII, I got mine from eBay since my 2008 has no trip computer. It also serves other
purposes, in addition. I installed it on the flat surface between the steering wheel and the odometer.

I whole heartedly agree with ceric! We replaced our Duellers at 38K miles with the Yokohama Parada Spec-X on all four corners. They are proving to be so far superior on our 20" rims that this forum has become my "bible" when it comes to the "care and feeding" of our Miata and CX-9. Many great suggestions along with good hard knowledge of what can be expected of the Mazda products. Do as ceric says and get the Yokohama's. You will not be disappointed!
