Tire suggestion for RX8 owners

I changed all 4 tires about a month and a half ago with Bridgestone Potenza's RE050A *Pole Position* stock size (225 45 R18) and just wanted to give other owners a heads up if they are looking for an amazing handling high performance tire, this is the one. As soon as they were installed, it was like driving a different car.

Since most threads are worthless with no pics, here is a picture below, of the tire.

What tires did you have before? What conditions did you run them? I have Nitto Extreme NT555 on my summer wheels and I love them. The contact patch on these are of the highest available.

I had the crappy Dunlop SP8090's I believe, the rubber compound on those were so hard you can feel every litle crack in the road. Those Nitto's look really sharp but I've never heard of that brand. Probably because we cant get them here.

Hey mikey whats up? I was in Quebec both last summer and this summer for grand prix weekend. I was two blocks from rue st catherine. My 8 got towed one nite for no reason. I was parked legally, behind a ferrari 355 spyder and an audi A8 and they towed me. This was on the night of qualifying and I was drunk so I walked around looking for a cop until I stumbled upon a group of cops making a bust who gave me a phoen number to the local towing company. Anyway, I've never had more fun than driving around the financial district at 6:30 in the morning when no one else was out. (five-0)

Now back on the topic of tires, I am running 17" General Exclaim UHP's. CHEAP tires, with a thick side wall, but they have held up really well for this past summer season. They will need to be replaced, but not until spring as I have 18" pirelli snowsports on my stock wheels. What kind of winter gear do you run up there in moon-less canada?
