Anyone ever seen this. I havent. Went to do some suspension work today. On the driver side the damn tie rod is like jammed into the spindle...like whoever put them on decided to beat them into the spindle so the rod would stop spinning so they could tighten it(my theory). Cause the other side i just popped it with the tie rod puller and a hammer and it lifted right out. Ive prybar'd it. Beat the tie rod fork into it and lifted up so hard i lifted that side of the car off the jackstands. This is insane. Sprayed it with pb, let it sit for a day tried again. Nothing. Does anyone know how to drill through it if i decide to just cut it off flush with a sawzall?

Just use the SawZall and cut it Off. Actually forget the SawZall just use the Grinder and cut it off with the Grinder Harbor Freight tools sells them for $15.00 =-)

I did right after i posted, i saw no other option outside of replacing to spindle too. Now i gotta figure out how to drill it out so i can put the tie rod back on. Ruined like 5 drill bits im using a 1/2 inch electric drill and havent even drilled halfway through the tie rod yet. I bought some bits for hardened steel but im not too optimistic. Any ides would be appreciated

Just keep using the Right Size Drill bit and keep trying to drill it out put some Marvel Mystery oil on the Drill bit when you drill to it should work alot better!
