don't know if this has been posted before but..

this is the road test by edmunds.com with the MazdaSpeed RX-8.. did it ever get produced? everywhere i look it doesn't list it as being produced.

anyways here is the link...

scroll down to performance... 1/4 mile time is slower then my car and much slower then the stock RX-8.. i don't get it.

The RX-8 is not a fast car. But then, it's not a quarter mile car either.

even in Forza Motorsport, the Mazdaspeed Rx-8 has lower perfomance specs then the Stock Rx-8. The car hand;es better and I think wieght is what lowers the performance on paper, but on the track, everything comes together to perform as tough racer for winding roads and tracks. The Rx-8 Chassis, kills, and the Mazdaspeed Rx-8 setup doesn't just kill, but terminates in class BS autocross.
