thinking about new J and mid

I was wondering if any of you have eliminated the frist cat with a new j pipe and upgraded the mid pipe to either a hi flow cat or elimating the second cat. right now as it stands I have a injen intake, mazdaspeed exhaust and a wagner header. I was just curios if anybody out there has these mods but has elimated the first cat with new j-pipe. What kind of gains are expected, or has anybody done this? Just debating on doing this would like to know if anybody has done it.
