Thinking about buying a rx7

Ok i found this rx7 on craigslist and i was woundering is it worth buying it?
I called him and he said that the rx7 is better off as a parts because of the body damage the rx7 has. I still need to go look at the rx7 to see how many miles the engine has and other problem. I was thinking if i could talk to him about lowering the price to like 500, when i go see the rx7 tommarrow. Let me know what you think.

definitely go take a look at it and get some pics....

Find out how many miles are on the motor and if its ever been rebuilt. Have him try to start it and check for any smoke.

In all honesty, how long during a year will you be able to drive that car?

I will be driving the car during the summer, so that will be about 4 or 5 month. The rest of the year it will be collecting dust in the garage. (silly)

Well I didnt' get the rx7 yesterday. The only good part of the car is that the engine is clean LOL. i forgot to take my camera for some pictures. I offered $250 for the car since there is alot of work to be done. He said 250 is low because there acouple good parts in the car to worth more. Then he said there another person looking at the car and he will call me tommarrow to let me know if it still availble.
Here the list of the bad things:
right fender had a big dent
minor dents on the left fender
scratch all around the bottom of the car.
front bumper minor dents/scratches
sun roof total broken
right tail light broken
interior both door panels need to be replace
stock raido missing
116025 miles on the obo
front windshield crack
right rear fender minor damage
emission can't pass becasuse of hole in exhuast.
need a new starter.
rx7 isn't turbo =(

The way we do it in new england; snow tires and/or tire chains. These help alot with traction issues.
