The Ohio Random Thread... aka We Should Probably Be Working

Bearings were shot, need a new clutch and some other things. It's now a matter of getting the list of parts needed and just start ordering
Going to get a "real" street clutch? I recommend something with at least a sprung center section.

^ what you don't like an Unsprung 6 puck???

I'm looking at the FM Happy Meal. No more Unsprung clutch for me. I hated that clutch feel (more like lack thereof) lol
I'm going to make the car more streetable as with my job/current workload getting to autocross events will be a bit difficult. Once it's back together the primary use will just be nice day cruising and occasional autocrosses so there is no sense fooling myself nto buying full blown race parts...

It was interesting to drive to say the least. Outside of first it was fine but it really didn't want to be slipped. The clutch I bought for the RX7 is somewhere in between. It has a sprung center section but it doesn't have a "cushioning spring" (i.e. it's s single piece versus two pieces that can compress).

Finally rode the bike to work. 8 miles in about 40 minutes at a moderate pace, no too bad for my first real ride of the year. Probably better than just making Pelotonia my first ride like I did last year.

Well, my boss said I should just stay in Columbus wednesday night, since it's a 2 day course. Anyone want to meet up in C-bus wednesday 7/30 for dinner?

I know. I can hope some c-bus fools are up for it, otherwise it's going to be a long Netflix evening

I already have plans for a no baby date night

Go figure. Take advantage of that Nate, cause they seem hard to pull off. We've only had like 2, and one was our 3 year anniversary last week.

I knew it was a long shot when I asked.
