Hello all

My name is Jason and I just signed up to learn more about the Mazda 3. I have been shopping for a new car and test drove a 06 mazda 3 a few days back and was blown away by the look and overall feel of the car. The look of the 5 door has now grown on me and now I guess you could say I have been biten my the mazda bug.
I will be seaching around to see what to look for in buyying a pre owned Mazda 3. Any advice you guys and gals have on the matter would be great. Thank you all for reading.

Welcome.....I know I loved my 2002 volvo S80 T6 and wished I had never sold it.And for those that dont know its a inline 6 with dual turbos.


Like those guys said,Its not that ricey.I like the looks of that car.

Would you guys say $16,900 is a fair price for a 06 mazda 3, 5 door with 11,000 miles. 5spd with sunroof and 17" stock rims. Comes with extended warranty as well. mint looking in and out.

I'd say it's a decent value. do you know if it has leather, bose system, 6 disc changer, or any of the other options packages (side airbags, abs, etc?).

With 17s so I'm gonna go ahead and assume it's the S (2.3 litre) model.

welcome, het teh S model or the MS3...I think you can get a new S model for a lil more than you are quoting, so look at new ones

Sorry for being unclear. It is a 2.3 S model. no leather, bose, 6 disc or side airbags.

I really want one with the side curtain airbags but they seem hard to come by since I will only buy a 5spd.

edit: sincity I looked at getting a new one but a base mazda 3 5 door starts at $18,175. At least thats what the Mazda web site says
