Does anybody have a pic of a Mp3 with the almighty Tein Springs? Anything would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Anthony(bluemp3) (rockon) (2thumbs)

Here you go. Just got them installed today and sorry about not getting any good side complete side angle shots.

hey bro i click on the link... i noticed that ur car is not lowered yrt on those pic or is it?
anyways the pic that u posted here looks nice that low. DAMN! i should've bought a mp3 instead of p5!

thank you so much for the pics. How is the ride? Does it compare anything to stock?
Thanks,
Anthony

There is a singificant drop, about 1.5 all around which is exactly what I was hoping for. I will get better pics in the near future to help show the drop a little better. Oh yeah, the pics near the bottom of my photosite link in my sig are the new pics of the car after being lowered. The top pics are at stock height

Gosh, I hate to ask because this is probably asked million times already. Though, since we're on this Tein Spring subject...

How's the ride? I think I read it somwhere it's stiffer than the stock. I'm starting to shop for spring that will give me just enough drop (either Mazdaspeed drop or Tein), yet still keep the stock ride.

So far I know Spool springs will give me stock ride, but I think Spool springs drop too much :P then mazdaspeed springs are just too expensive to afford..

This kinda narrow down to:
1. Tein (if it's not too stiff)
2. JIC? X-Magic???

Thanks for taking the time to answer~

I just installed my teins yesterday. It took me about 4 hours. It helped to have another person, especially for reinstalling the nuts on the swaybar endlinks. ( i think that's what they're called.. my probe didn't have them though, which is weird.)

I haven't gotten my alignment yet, but let me tell you.... you won't be disappointed with the Teins!!!! The drop is sweet!!! (no more wheel well gap) and the ride quality is even better!!! It's not harsh, and the handling is amazing. Body roll is almost eliminated. It makes the car about 10,000 times more fun to drive. I'll have before and after pics up soon with the teins and 18's.

Well, I didn't get to the shop in time to have an alignment done so I haven't really driven to hard. But to me, the Teins seem softer than the Racing Beat Springs that came on my MP3. It's probably just placebo, but I swear they're a little bit softer. So, in saying that, I can guarantee a stock like ride. I know the spring rate for the Tein Springs, but I can't find the rates for the Racing Beats anywhere so who knows. The Mazdaspeed springs and the MP3 springs will have pretty much the same drop. So, I say go for the Teins. I was selling my MP3 springs for $100 buck + shipping, but they sold now. One thing to remember when installing the Teins.....do not cut the bump stops. They tell you not to in the instruction manual.
