stock speed6 muffler vs stock 4cyl muffler

has anybody ever put the speed6 muffler on a stock 4cyl 6?
does it sound any different? im just looking for a little bit more aggressive sound.

I have a extra speed6 mufflers and thinking of putting it on my 4cyl 6 this weekend

Im guessing the Piping is larger.. You might notice a sound difference as far as horsepower I would not expect much 1-2 . It may have a more aggressive sound though if the piping is larger

The tail pipe sections are at different angles for the Speed6 muffler outlets and don't line up with the cutouts on a 6.

yeah i was aware that the cutouts are different, but was hoping that could be worked around?...maybe with the hangers or something. i will take some pics tomorrow as i will be home and see if there is a way without to much hassle

just buy a real exhaust, you probably won't get what you expect from the speed6 one.

i know if i really wanted a nice exhaust i would,
but i got the mufflers as a kicker in a deal. so i figured i why not

Have you heard the stock ms6? It's not beefy... Just hit a local muffler shop.

i think the whole point of him doing this is so he doesnt spend money on an exhaust. if you want to put the time in it and it fits good.. dont see why not.. its pretty much a free "mod" if you will.

Well I've had speed 6 and a regular 6.. I don't remember this being any kind of upgrade at all, these two exhausts are surprisingly similar considering the speeds power.. So I'm just trying to save him from wasting money.. Unless he knows how to weld? Is gonna cost something.. The extra volume your hearing(if any) in the speed is coming from the straight pipe not the muffs..

I jacked up the 6 today... and the spd6 mufflers 100% dont fit the stock 6 with out cutting and welding so it's not worth it.

I was just hoping that they might interchange but at least we know they dont now
