Stock MP3 Wheels - RacingHart or Enkei?

I was looking at the back of my wheels yesterday and noticed that they are labled: "Hart" on the back of one spoke and "Enkei" on another.

Anyone have any idea who actually manufactured them?

P.S. They also are labled "MPS" Wasn't that the name someone suggested the next generation MP3 would be called?

Racing Hart as a company does not actually manufacture rims. They do everything from the design to making the molds then contract Enkie to actually make the rims. You wouldn't believe how many rims are made by Enkie, almost EVERY stock Mazda rim is made by Enkie just for a start.

Yeah, the other day when I was painting my brake calipers, I noticed that it said "Enkei", and "Heart" on the wheel, as well as "MPS" :p

Probably because MAZDA MPS contracted Racing Hart to design a wheel for them, but said, make it cheap cause the cars are cheap, and therefore Racing Hart had to have Enkei produce it.

That pretty much sums it all up. It always comes down to money, don't ever forget that.

Actually Hart Wheels (the parent company of Racing Hart) does make wheels but they will also contract out the cheaper stuff to other companies. This is done all the time. Most of the Mazdaspeed wheels are made by Ray's Engineering (parent company of volk racing) Almost all OEM wheels in the world are either made by Enkei, OZ racing, or BBS.

Yeah and BBS forged wheels aren't even German, hehe. They're made in Japan.

Just throwin' s*** out there. hehe.
