Stock Dyno Pre-BEGI Kit

OK I had my car dynoed today so we could get an idea of the BEGI kit gains when I get it put on in the next 2 weeks. (hopefully)

The #'s were 114.3hp and 118.6 ft/lbs of torque on a Dynojet.

My car has 16,000 miles on it.


This was with 93 octane and NO mods ..... everything just like it was from the lot.. so as soon as I get the kit put in I will have it dynoed with and without the HKS 3"exhaust I ordered today http://www.hksusa.com/products/?id=847

Where did you get it dyno'd at?

Thats the highest bone stock dyno I've heard of yet. Usually it only around 109hp.

yeah that is pretty higher than i have seen too... with my aem intake and exhaust mods i got 117hp and 123lb-ft....

grassroot motorsports got 109hp and 110 lbft..

but every engine is different and some have more power than engines...

consider yourself a lucky one... lol

Well crap, I should hope SOMEBODY pulls 114 at the wheels (19% loss). 109hp at the wheels is nearly 24% loss. Are we sure we don't have AWD? . This just rekindles the whole debate whether our cars are really 140hp or not. 24% loss is just too much for a manual transmission car.
